Sustainability Plan

Ensuring that the CoVE SShaRP ecosystem continues to create value beyond the project lifetime.

CoVE SShaRP is designed as a long-term European ecosystem of cooperation, learning, certification and innovation — not as a temporary funded initiative.

Sustainability at the Heart of CoVE SShaRP

BEYOND THE PROJECT LIFETIME

Sustainability is a core priority of CoVE SShaRP. The project aims to establish lasting results, structures and strategic partnerships that will continue to operate and generate value well beyond the end of European funding.

Sustainability goes beyond preserving individual deliverables. It focuses on maintaining a dynamic ecosystem that connects vocational education and training with ports, businesses, research organisations, technology providers, public authorities and local communities.

Through governance mechanisms, Innovation Hubs, digital resources, certification schemes and exploitation strategies, CoVE SShaRP will create a lasting and scalable legacy for the European port sector.

Sustainability Pillars

01 — Transnational Skills Council

The Council will maintain structured dialogue between vocational education, port organisations, businesses, technology actors and policymakers.

02 — National Innovation Hubs

The hubs will continue to connect local and national stakeholders, supporting skills development, applied innovation and cooperation.

03 — Shared Knowledge Hub

Digital platforms and repositories will preserve, update and share project knowledge, educational materials and good practices.

04 — Open Educational Resources

Training materials and digital learning resources will remain accessible and reusable by learners, professionals and education providers.

05 — Skills Certification

Certification and recognition mechanisms will support the continued visibility and transferability of the skills developed through the project.

06 — Sustainability Blueprint

The SSRP Sustainability Blueprint will define the governance, exploitation, expansion and long-term development of the CoVE SShaRP ecosystem.

What Will Continue Beyond the Project Lifetime

The structures established during the project will support the continued use, updating and expansion of CoVE SShaRP results.

Training programmes and occupational profiles will be available for adaptation to new learning and labour market needs. Open educational resources and digital materials will continue to support learners, trainers and professionals. Certification approaches will enable skills to remain visible and transferable.

The Transnational Skills Council, National Innovation Hubs, Shared Digital Knowledge Repository and wider partnership network will provide permanent mechanisms for cooperation, knowledge exchange, dissemination and the exploitation of project outcomes.

The Sustainability and Exploitation Plan will also support the transfer of successful resources, practices and governance models to additional countries, organisations and port ecosystems.
